Mzanzi Conductors Convention
The annual Mzanzi Conductors Convention is South Africa’s premier gathering for conductors of all levels, from aspiring leaders to seasoned professionals. Over the course of the convention, participants engage with internationally renowned conductors, gaining valuable insight into the art and practice of conducting. With fifteen
intensive masterclasses on offer, the programme combines world-class training with practical experience, ensuring that every conductor leaves with new skills and inspiration. Alongside the workshops, a variety of choirs showcase their performance standards, providing delegates with opportunities to observe, reflect, and learn directly from live performances. More than just a training event, MCC is a rare opportunity to refine your craft, broaden your perspective, and connect with a dynamic community of colleagues and mentors.
Masterclasses
Each Choral Celebration Festival concert is accompanied by a dedicated masterclass led by our network of master conductors. These sessions are an opportunity to collaborate and learn from some of the best in the industry.
Community Connectors Initiative
We are proud to offer the Community Connectors initiative, which provides marketing materials for all CCNF events, with the Choral Celebration Festival Series having the most significant impact due to the number of participants.
Participants receive professionally designed marketing materials that showcase their role in the community and the role of their choir/school/organisation and highlight the specific value offering of the conductor in the community.
They share this on their social channels. By sharing these materials, choirs can spread the word about their participation in the festival series and help build a community of passionate choral music lovers.
